Description
Group of 5 issued to SR.597780 J.B. Miller. Served with the Southern Rhodesian Armoured Car Regiment, attached to the 6th U.D.F. Division, SA Forces. His service records confirm he served in East Africa (Abyssinia, Kenya, Eriteria, Tanganyika) and Egypt from March 1941 to September 1945. Medal entitlement is confirmed by the Union Defence Force documentation sold with the medal group.

Note: The Africa Service Medal is impressed 'SR.597780 J.B. Miller', the other medals (1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal and War Medal) are unnamed as issued by the Southern Rhodesian Government and verified in his South African documentation. The medals have never been worn and come with the original box of issue.

The Southern Rhodesian Armoured Car Regiment is a desirable unit.
